Twenty Watt loves maps. Simple.

Their history; their detail; their fonts and colours; the adventures they contain. All these combine to make a truly original lampshade. We receive orders for Father’s day presents, wedding gifts, birthday presents as well as for people’s personal interiors.

This is primarily a bespoke service – you tell us the location, Twenty Watt sources the map and hey you have got yourself a lampshade.

We only ever use original maps and often these come with some age. Therefore expect some ware to the map we use which, in our opinion, adds to the charm and character of the shade.

Due to the intricate detail of maps we feel that the shades work best designed for a table base. Also, because of the size of most maps most of the shades are either 20cm or 25cm in diameter.

All the shades are finished with a white cotton rolled edge trim and come with a section of the original map cover and a tag stating the date of the map.
